It’s getting to that time of year again, the epic rock weekend in May known as Rock on the Range. Running since 2007, the fun-filled event is about to take place for the seventh time this year. Seemingly getting bigger each year too, the event has recently expanded to a three-day event rather than two days.

The line-up has been recently announced for this year’s event. This year will feature artists Bush, Stone Sour, Three Days Grace, Papa Roach, Cheap Trick, Bullet For My Valentine, Volbeat, Lamb of God, Skillet, Buckcherry, A Day to Remember, Halestorm and many, many more. Tickets are already on sale and the concert is set to take place May 17th, 18th, and 19th. The concert will take place in the Columbus Crew soccer stadium in Columbus, Ohio as usual. Tickets include VIP backstage passes to meet the bands, camper packages for the whole weekend, floor tickets for the weekend and stadium seating in the stands. Also, there is a ticket minimum of four tickets when purchasing as well so make sure you have three friends to go with before buying! You may also buy up to 8 tickets if you wish. Tickets are also available in lay-away.

The event has typically been a high energy, summer-opening great time of a weekend out in the sun (although weather can always turn at the last second as it has in the past) and the line-up is there to back it up. The event also features many artists in the Rock, Alternative, and Metal genres. The bands have ranged from Rise Against, Five Finger Death Punch and Rob Zombie to Avenged Sevenfold, Godsmack, and Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. Really, if you are a fan of any kind of Rock music, you can’t go wrong here. Historically, the concert has been announced by Mistress Bridget from the 96.5 radio show in the mornings in Cincinnati and is probably a safe assumption that she will be hosting it again this coming year.

More information about the event can be found on Facebook, Twitter, or on the Rock on the Range website. The website is www.rockontherange.com and has links to the Facebook and Twitter.
