Tuesday Flavas

Tuesday 2-4pm

Tuesday Flavas is hosted by DJ Chocolate Luv and DJ KaraMel where all music genres are played. Tuesday Flavas is streamed live every Tuesday 2-4pm where we talk about the latest news happening on and off campus, feature local music artists, and have a fun relationship segment for people to call in and interact with the DJ’s one on one.

Name: Tarica Calhoun (DJ Chocolate Luv)

Major: Communications

Year in school: Junior

Activities: UC Marching Band/ Concert Band

Interesting facts: I am a people person who loves to talk and make new friends. I’ve realized no one wants my pursue my dreams as much as I do, which is why I take every opportunity thrown my way and make the best of it.

Name: DJ Karamel (aka Jayrel Williams)

Major: Biology

Year: Sophomore

Interesting Facts: Jayrel is based out of Cincinnati, OH.  She creates and performs music which includes club and hip hop styles.  She is well known for her fun and outgoing personality and her hypnotizing radio voice.  Starting her career as a DJ at The University of Cincinnati Bearcast radio station, she has a focus on dance music, RnB, and hip hop.  DJ Karamel began creating her own style of music during her freshman year of high school using a computer software known as Fruity Loops and a studio in the basement of her home.  Currently DJ Karamel is a sophomore at The University of Cincinnati where she is majoring in Biology (pre-med).  On her Spare time she enjoys the outdoors, shopping, partying, and making music of course.  DJ Karamel was originally named Kar-a-Mel and was part of a high school rap duo known as “Kar-a-Mel and Kimmy (The original P.A.’s)”, with P.A. standing for party animal.
