Spend your Saturday night at US Bank Arena with the Cincinnati Cyclones.
Not everybody is in to hockey, including myself, but I found the Cincinnati Cyclones game to be a fun night out at a reasonable price. With home tickets at only $13, it’s a great way to spend the weekend.
However, I especially enjoyed the variety of events that occurred at the game. Despite conventional sporting-event conduct like T-shirt launches and free food/giveaways, the February 16th game featured an event called “Chuck-a-Puck.” Fans could purchase yellow hockey pucks and throw them on the ice for a chance to win a special prize, courtesy of the Cincinnati Cyclones.
Most importantly, if you’re into food, Cyclones games should not be passed up. The Cyclones teamed up with City Barbecue and gave fans tons of discounts. These included $1 pulled pork sandwiches at the game and half off any meal if the Cyclones score 5 or more goals. There’s different discounts every game so check out the schedule to see what will be next.
With the Cyclones trumping the Trenton Titans 5-2, a trip to City Barbecue completed a very enjoyable evening.
Their next home game will be held at US Bank Arena on February 23rd at 7:30pm against the Wheeling Nailers.
